Hi! I’m Kaeli.
I am a born people pleaser, with a huge, wild heart (which I tend to wear on my sleeve). I love romance, big gestures, smiling at strangers, slow-dancing, sleeping in, and just about anything that involves cheese, wine, and quality time with the people I love.
I drive fast, chase the sun, pray on the moon (hence; Luna), and cry every time I watch The Notebook or Titanic - both of which I have seen like a hundred times.
I've been planning dinner parties since before I can remember-- I'd invite my friends over for a "little soiree" (hence, well, Soiree). I was always looking for a reason to bring people together.
I started Luna Soiree Events in 2008, with a genuine enthusiasm, and desire to create wildly successful events with a personal touch. While I have evolved, and grown into a designer that has mastered the art of crafting weddings and events that tell a story through my clients eyes, the intention of my little company is still the same - I'm just a little better at it now, and have a few more tricks up my heart stained sleeve ;-)
In my free time, you might spot me at at Pilates class, grabbing dinner downtown Ann Arbor, attending UM Football or Volleyball games, seeing a show, either with my daughter, or watching her perform on stage, or I'm probably just home, singing along to Lily Allen, The Greatest Showman or Hamilton!

Our Story

Meet my Family

Hi! My name is Kaytee Wildner and I am the newest addition to the Luna Soiree team. After planning my own wedding in November, I discovered an affinity for event planning and design. My 14 years in the service industry has grown into a passion for hospitality of all forms and I am thrilled to bring that experience to the world of events. Since reaching out to Luna Soiree, I have been shadowing Kaeli and her tremendous team and I am so pleased to be coming onboard as an associate planner! I look forward to bringing my passion, attention to detail and deep caring to each unique event and help create lasting memories.

I have a BA in Art History from Wayne State University in Detroit and love to draw from my knowledge and eye for aesthetics as inspiration. Art has always played an important role in my life. Sidenote: I once made an animation for a fan contest to be on my favorite show Arrested Development. The prize was a trip to California to be an extra in the show. (I won!)

Traveling is a huge passion for me and I have been lucky enough to have adventures like swimming with Sea Lions in The Galapagos Islands, climbing inside the Great Pyramid of Egypt, and dog sledding in Sweden.

My free time is spent with a good book, finding treasures at estate sales, reading Tarot cards, decorating and spending time with my husband and two cats. I am always up for a strange adventure or a new way to challenge myself.

Hi! My name is Micayla McMurray, and I’m an office administrator with Luna Soiree Events. My journey with LSE began the summer of my junior year, when I started as an Event Intern. For three months, I shadowed Kaeli on event days and provided hands-on support to meet rigorous timelines and provide our clients with unforgettable, seamless events! As time went on, I immersed myself in events, and began taking on bigger responsibilities in the planning process. At the end of the internship, I was thrilled that Kaeli offered me an Assistant Coordinator position!

Since then, I have become a Lead Event Coordinator and have planned and coordinated events of my own with Luna Soiree.  In July of 2019, I re-located to Austin, TX and provide the Luna Soiree Events team with office support remotely from my new home in the Lone Star State.

In my free time, I love cooking and trying new restaurants, thrift shopping, crocheting scarves, photography, and planning trips with my family and amazing boyfriend. I graduated from the University of Michigan in April 2019 with my Bachelor's in Communications and Media Studies.  Go Blue!

I also love going to concerts and music festivals. My sister is my ultimate music buddy, and our favorite shows so far have been Lady Gaga at Little Caesars Arena and a VIP meet-and-greet with HAIM at the Fox Theater in Detroit!

Libbie has been with the Luna Soiree Events team since it’s inception in 2008. As a friend and colleague of Kaeli’s, she helped curate some of the initial concepts of the business, and assisted on event days, once LS began to grow. Now, she brings over 10 years of event experience, an upbeat and positive attitude, and a easy-going, yet confident approach to our events!

Libbie is a Registered Dietitian with Aramark at Michigan Medicine, in Ann Arbor. She has called Ann Arbor home most of her life, apart from undergrad at Albion College and brief move to San Francisco from 2007-2008. She did a semester abroad in Grenoble, France and received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and French. After dabbling in marketing/branding, sales, and boutique retail purchasing and management, she returned to school in 2012 and completed her Master of Science in Dietetics in July 2017.

In December 2017, she earned the RD credential. While in school, she continued to be a vital member of the Luna Soiree team, got involved EPIC races, and even started a personal style consulting business-- all of which she continues to do, as time allows.

Libbie enjoys running, yoga, ballet, cooking, and of course, eating, traveling, and spending time outside in beautiful Ann Arbor!
